MarketCheck FTP

Learn about MarketCheck's FTP delivery options for data feeds.

MarketCheck FTP provides a secure and efficient way to transfer data feeds. With support for both passive and active modes, it can easily integrate into various network environments. MarketCheck also offers SFTP for added security and encryption during data transfer.

If clients have cloud-based infrastructure, MarketCheck can also deliver data feeds via cloud storage platforms like AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage. Please refer to Delivery Options for more information. Cloud deliveries are recommended over FTP/SFTP for better performance and reliability.

Additional Security Recommendations

  • Regularly update passwords (coordinate with MarketCheck support)
  • Limit access to the FTP/SFTP servers to only those who need it
  • Download files on your end and store them for later use, as MarketCheck only retains files for 3 days.
  • Do not download same files multiple times unnecessarily. Download them once and duplicate them as needed.
