Error response changes for the Dealer, VIN Decoder and MDS APIs.

Other changes

  1. For Dealer API - /dealers endpoint, when there are no dealers found for given latitude & longitude the API will return 200 success response with num_found 0 and empty dealers array. Previously it used to return 500 server error.

Previous response :- HTTP status code 500
{ code: 500, message: "No dealer found!"}

Modified to :- HTTP status code 200
{ num_found: 0, dealers: [ ] }

  1. For VIN Decoder API - /vin/{vin}/specs endpoint, if given VIN is not found by our decoder, a 422 not found error will be returned. Currently it returns a 200 OK response with empty object

  1. For MDS API - /mds endpoint, if we are unable to decode the given vin, the vin not found response with status of 422 will be returned, Currently it returns 500 server error.

{ code: 500, message: "Something went wrong. Please try again" }
