1.New Documentation Portal for Marketcheck API

Description:

  • Launched a redesigned, modern documentation portal that consolidates all Marketcheck APIs, data feeds, and extensions into a single, user-friendly hub.
  • The portal provides improved navigation, comprehensive reference material, and an enhanced developer experience to make integration and discovery faster and more intuitive.

2. Dealer Inventory Syndication API

Description:

  • New endpoints introduced to export active dealer inventory in both Marketcheck’s standardised JSON format and marketplace-specific formats, with an increased listings rows limit.

Pagination Limit Per API Call: 1500 (supports large dealer inventories).

Pricing: $1.50 per API call.

  • Returns standardised JSON dealer inventory with enhanced listings rows limit.

3. UK Auto-complete API

Description:

  • Implemented real-time auto-completion for UK search inputs leveraging facet capabilities to provide suggestions and result counts across UK vehicle inventory, including UK-specific fields (postal_code, trim, variant) and localised mappings.

1. Enhanced Pagination Limit (Basic Subscription)

Description

  • Pagination limit for Basic plan increased from 500 → 1500.

2. Support for Dealer & Dealership Parameters in US Active Search API

Description

  • Added support for filtering by dealer_id, source, mc_website_id, and Dealerships Management fields. By default, responses include only analytics (stats, facets, range_facets) with rows=0 and start=0.

  • Enables more precise, dealer-specific level filtering while optimising responses for analytics use cases by default.

3. NeoVIN Enhancements – Available Options Packages

Description

  • New parameter include_available_options enables retrieval of available option packages in decode response.

  • Clients can now access richer vehicle configuration data directly from NeoVIN decode results.

4. Similar Cars API – Options Packages & Build Code

Description

  • Expanded matching criteria to include version, options_packages, and build_code, enhancing result accuracy beyond YMMT.

  • Improves relevancy of similar car results by considering deeper configuration attributes.

5. MDS API – Version & Build Code

Description

  • Enhanced exact-match logic: when exact=true, MDS values are now calculated using YMMT + Version + Build Code.
  • Previously, exact=true only considered YMMT.

  • Allows more granular and precise VIN-based matching and more accurate MDS.

6. Marketcheck Price API – Comparables with Full Attributes

Description

  • Comparables now generated using all vehicle attributes (YMMT + version + build_code).

  • Enhances comparables matching at the most granular attribute level.

7. OAuth Token Lifecycle Management

Description

  • Introduced new OAuth2 endpoints for token lifecycle management:
  • List Tokens – retrieve active tokens.
  • Revoke/Delete Tokens – terminate access immediately.

  • Provides clients with self-service control over OAuth2 tokens, improving security and compliance.

Description

  • Standardised rate limit headers added to all API responses to monitor API usage.

Description

Description

  • The Taxonomy Facets API now supports country parameter.
  • Default Behaviour: US + CA combined results.
  • Country param: returns country-specific facets.

Deprecation Notice

Dealers Active Inventory API Deprecation

Description

  • The Dealers Active Inventory API is scheduled for deprecation and full sunset. Clients should migrate to the new Dealer Inventory Syndication API.
  • Deprecation: Mon, 29 Sep 2025 00:00:00 GMT
  • Sunset: Feb 2026.

Client Impact

  • Clients will receive deprecation warnings when using the Dealers Active Inventory API starting from Sep 29, 2025.
  • The API will be fully unavailable after Feb, 2026, requiring clients to migrate to the Dealer Inventory Syndication API before the sunset date.

Recall API

Description

  • The legacy Recall API is deprecated already and sunsetting from 29 Sep, 25; use the AutoRecalls API for improved coverage and accuracy.

Client Impact

  • Recall API is no longer supported—clients must switch to AutoRecalls API to continue accessing recall data.

1. Fixed expired=true Param Not Respected in UK Recents API

Description

  • Previously, the UK Recents API was not working as expected for the expired=true filter. This has been fixed to correctly filter listings according to the specified parameter.

2. Fixed UK Dealer API Handling for listing_count_range Parameter

Description

  • Previously, the UK Dealer API was not working as expected for the listing_count_range filter. This has been fixed to filter results according to the specified parameter.

3. Fixed UK Dealership API to Include postal_code and county Filters

Description

  • Previously, the UK Dealership API did not properly filter results using postal_code and county. This has been fixed to ensure dealership listings are filtered and returned accurately.

4. Resolved Invalid Latitude/Longitude Validation Issue

Description

  • Previously, API requests with invalid latitude/longitude values resulted in a 500 Internal Server Error. This has been fixed to properly validate values and return meaningful errors.

5. Enhanced in_transit Parameter to Support Multiple Values

Description

  • Previously, the in_transit parameter only supported a single boolean value. This has been updated to accept multiple comma-separated values (true,false) for more flexible filtering.
